Looking for Road America accomodations? This rental property is ideal for racers and spectators attending events at world famous Road America (two miles away), or for a great week of golfing here in Sheboygan County.
Road America is internationally known for top notch road racing - two motorcycle weekends, Champ Cars, the American LeMans Series, three major Vintage Races and the SCCA June Sprints take place every year along with numerous car club and driving school events. Our house ensures that the rest of the family will have an enjoyable time while the racer in the family is indulging him / herself at the track.
If you've got a group together for a week of golf, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin is rated as one of the best golf areas in the country. All within a 20 - 30 minute drive, Whistling Straits, Blackwolf Run and The Bull at Pinehurst Farms are the most notable of at least 13 area courses. Right out the back door is the scenic 18 hole Crystal Lake Course.
In the front is Crystal Lake itself. Crystal Lake is a beautiful 150 acres with a maximum depth over 60 feet and perfectly clear water. It's great for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and so on. (If you need big water for sailing, charter fishing or other types of recreation, Lake Michigan is only about 25 minutes to the east).
The Kettle Moraine area of Wisconsin is home to some fantastic parks. At 30,000 acres, the Kettle Moraine State forest has great cross country skiing, snowshoe trails, mountain biking and just about every other outdoor activity you could imagine - this is 20 minutes away. Kohler-Andrae state park is on the shore of Lake Michigan just south of Sheboygan for sand dunes and beaches (again 20-25 minutes). The spectacular Sheboygan Marsh county park is 10 minutes away as is the Old Plank Road Trail for biking.
If airplanes are your passion, Oshkosh's famed Wittman Field and the EAA Airventure Museum is only about an hour's drive away. Nearby Sheboygan County Airport is about 10 miles away.
At the end of the day, relax on the large deck overlooking the lake, or the smaller one in back overlooking the golf course. The family room/kitchen are very open and conducive to entertaining. The master bedroom has a patio door onto the deck overlooking the golf course.
Everything you need is here - two bathrooms, full laundry room, garage, full kitchen with all appliances and utensils including a dishwasher and grill. All towels and bedding are provided. Additional amenities include a flat panel tv with satellite, dvd player, fireplace, playing cards, board games and even a blender so you can have margaritas on the deck - we've tried to think of everything!
